Austro-hungarian Medallion, 19th Century.
Oval medallion in gilded silver, it is decorated in the center with a cabochon in imitation of amethyst surrounded by turquoise and small orange fancy stones. The edge of the medallion and the central cabochon is bordered with a black enameled net punctuated with small white dots. The reverse has a curved glass and opens to receive a small souvenir. The silver chain has a belcher link. It is probably an Austro-Hungarian work from the end of the 19th century. Chain length 53 cm. Dimensions of the medallion 2.5 cm x 2 cm.
