Paris Porcelain Vase, Restoration Period, Circa 1830
Important amphora-shaped vase made of Paris porcelain, circa 1830.
Baluster-shaped, resting on a pedestal and a square base, with a polychrome decoration of hand-painted flowers on a black background.
The body is adorned with large white and gold roses and blue flowers, accompanied by small buds and polychrome foliage. The neck, pedestal, base, and decorative elements are richly accented with gold.
The piece is flanked by two swan-shaped handles, with elegantly curved necks and finely detailed wings—a motif particularly characteristic of the French decorative repertoire of the period.
