"Polychrome Faience Statuette Niderviller Representing Two Boys 18th C. From Custine"
Polychrome Faience Statuette by Niderviller. The statuette represents two boys: one holds a baby bird, while the other, with curiosity and tenderness, leans towards it, illustrating a scene of friendship and childish innocence. Period of the Count of Custine (1770-1793). Height: 20 cm. Very good condition. Note: two glaze chips - one to the base, the other - to the grass (see photos).
