Covered écuelle With Matching Stand In Fine Faience, Saint-clément, Late XVIIIth Century
Set comprising a covered écuelle and its matching stand, in polychrome fine faience from the Saint-Clément manufactory. Hand-painted decoration with stylized red garlands along the edges, green foliage, and applied molded branches. The lid is topped with a molded fruit (apple or quince), painted in naturalistic colors. The scalloped stand features matching decoration.
Delicate work from the late 18th or early 19th century. Unmarked, as is typical for this period and factory.
Dimensions: Total heigh - 11 cm, stand diameter - 18,5 cm.
Condition: Excellent condition, no cracks or chips. Complete set, extremely rare with original lid and stand.
Minor restoration on the rim of the stand.
