In a perfect square format, 106 x 106 cm, this is a marvelous gold-thread embroidery from Pakistan. This type of refined fabric was traditionally used to cover intricately carved wooden chests.
The weave of the fabric is extremely fine. To the touch, it has the feel of velvet.
Very beautiful natural shades of deep red.
The gold-thread embroidery is in perfect condition.
Best displayed as a wall hanging or framed and placed on a matte black velvet background, as we have done. Please note that this item is sold unframed.
