A beautiful cast bronze faucet consisting of two well-fitted parts, known as a “cannelle de foudre”; body with whimsical head, and handle with an ergonomic grip, features a conical socket that still works well.
Entire assembly was driven into the wood of cask or barrel with a mallet, hence the upturned nose of this charming hunting dog.
