Here is a large round decorative dish, 33.5 cm in diameter, unfinished, painted on raw earth, before enamelling, representing the cock of the victory, subject of the revenge against Prussia, after the defeat of 1870. Beautiful pre art Nouveau richly gilt, signed CM, we could not help thinking of Clément Massier, who took over the paternal workshop in 1871, but we are not experts ....
