Large Glazed Earthenware Jug From Sadirac
A very original Sadirac (Gironde) jug, featuring a spout reinforced with a crossbar, two handles—one at the back for carrying, the other on the front of the body, likely for dipping it into water and filling it quickly. It could also be used to pour other liquids as needed. Very beautiful, partially glazed in green. In good condition despite a few chips from use visible in the photo and some minor firing spatter.
