Half carved coconut, decorated with an 18th century man making a marriage proposal or begging for forgiveness, it is pontoon work carried out by a sailor or a convict, it dates from the end from the 18th or very early 19th century.

It is in good condition, no accidents to report, a tiny little hole in the center, of no consequence (which we have hidden with blackened paper on the back (so it is invisible on the front).
