Second piece of a large rose-printed cotton percale curtain dating from the late Louis-Philippe period. Original assembly in the pleated cotton braid top. Background design of polka dots and vertical ribbons dotted with staggered red roses. Squirrel silk piping on one side. Unlined, this curtain has been cleaned and has a few tiny invisible repairs and four or five small holes due to color mordanting. The percale has retained its rigid primer. Good overall condition.
