Liturgical Processional Umbrella - Late 19th Century
Our ombrelino procession parasol, in brocade, the two-part mast in turned wood with a removable gilded metal cross. The pavilion has been fully restored incream and gold Gothic brocade edged with gold cannetille fringe.

A latelate 19th or early 20th century.
Beautiful condition.
Provenance musée départemental d'art religieux de Digne les Bains, under reference 522, whose collection was transferred and some pieces dispersed in 2010. L'ombrelino came from the convent of sainte Enfance, an order founded in 1844 at La Valla en Gier.
