This is an imposing representation of folk art, but full of grace, where Saint Anne delivers pious and moral instruction to her daughter. A work from the Rhine or Flemish, from the end of the 16th or the beginning of the 17th century.
Carved in the round, the group has been varnished in order to freeze its deterioration because the wood at its base has suffered. Dimensions: 95 cm high by 40 wide and 33 deep.
