Pair Of French Reliefs Warrior Profiles Carving 19th Century
Pair of circular hand-carved Medallions with Profiles of Knights, Warriors with feathered helmets, ferrules and raised visor. Circular in shape, both 19th-century bas-reliefs are carved with figures of characters with well-carved beards and mustaches. In good condition apart from minimal gluing on the edge of one, they are of French origin, carved in Cembran pine and date back to the mid 1800s. The two round reliefs are ready to be hung to a wall or can be leaned and decorate a coffee table or shelf. They are decorative carved wooden panels containing male figures in profile, precisely warriors with helmets.
