Bonnetière , Cabinet In Flamed Mahogany, Biedermeier, First Half 19th Century
This elegant piece of furniture opens onto a central section with three fixed compartments. It is completed by two large drawers.
This cabinet is in flamed mahogany veneer on a fir frame. The drawers are in oak, also veneered in flamed mahogany.
The whole is topped by a "temple" cornice forming a plinth and allowing a very fine bronze or a clock etc. to be received and set off.
This piece of furniture is in very fine condition, the color of the mahogany is superbly nuanced by its flamed appearance.
Small traces of use ( see photo 12)
Small veneer grafts on the two rear feet ( see photos 5 and 7)
