Giltwood Floor Lamp In The Louis XVI Style, Napoleon III Period, 19th Century
Large and elegant Louis XVI style giltwood floor lamp, Napoleon III period. This lamp features opulent ornamentation throughout its woodwork. In good condition, it nevertheless shows some wear: browning of the gilding in the center of the stem (photo 6), as well as several areas where the gilding is missing, mainly on the base (see photos 10 and 11). The wiring is recent and in perfect working order.
