Italian Mirror In Venetian Style, Italy, 1960s - 1970s, Parclose Mirror
Italian wall mirror in gilded wood, made in the 60s 70s. This elegant mirror is composed of a central mirror surrounded by a gilded wood strip, itself lined with a surround of small mirrors juxtaposed with each other, without a separating strip. This "mosaic" arrangement, quite unusual, gives a sober and light appearance to the whole. Our mirror is in good condition, small wear of gilding is to be noted on the entire perimeter (see photos), they give a more aged and patinated appearance to the whole. A slight oxidation is to be noted on the mirror.
