A clock of great richness, its molded marble body is enhanced by exquisitely crafted bronze decoration: • Front: A large central bronze appliqué depicts a flaming torch intertwined with ribbons and richly stylized acanthus scrolls. • Sides: Sumptuous cornucopias with fluted channels overflow with generous sheaves of fruit, flowers, and buds, cascading gracefully onto the base. • Top: The clock is crowned by an antique-style vase on a pedestal, its finial depicting a bursting pomegranate. • Details: An elegant beaded frieze highlights the base, while a cavetto molding reinforces the structure. Base and Architecture: The clock rests on an oval marble base with stepped edges, encircled by a gallery of intertwined laurel leaves in gilt bronze. The whole is supported by six toupie feet, ensuring a balanced and majestic silhouette.
