Adorable Pair Of Miniature Cloisonné Vases, Japan Meiji 19th Century, Sparrows

These miniature vases are so cute, yet of such high quality. With their rounded bodies, they are glazed with a midnight blue background and decorated with a flock of sparrows in different colors taking flight. The flock is facing in opposite directions on each vase. One vase is in poor condition, having suffered a significant impact, though the damage is rather poorly concealed. The other, in superb condition, nevertheless shows considerable oxidation on its base. Please look carefully at my detailed photos; I'm not hiding anything!
Japanese working, dating from the second half of the 19th century, Meiji period.
Dimensions: 9cm H x 5cm Diameter.
Base diameter 3cm.
