A pair of cloisonné enamel vases with slender necks, depicting two ryū dragons wrapped around the surface and facing one another.
The surface is covered with a deep midnight-blue enamel ground, upon which sinuous dragons unfold, rendered with fine silver wires and polychrome enamels. The figures display articulated bodies with finely defined scales, outstretched claws, and long flowing whiskers.
Archaic motifs decorate the base and the rim of the neck.
