Beautiful Chinese Scholar's Item, Carved Wooden Printing Block, 19th Century, Hongmu

Here is a curious and interesting scholar's item, probably belonging to a painter or engraver. It is a printing block, likely for the subject of a work, painted or engraved on a scroll. Beautifully carved Hongmu wood with intaglio Chinese characters (unidentified).
It has a lovely patina and decorative appearance, I guarantee it is genuine and antique.
Excellent condition, no breaks or flaw, some minor wear, and traces of red ink still present.
Asian working, most likely from China or Vietnam, dating from the 19th century or earlier.
Dimensions: 36.5cm x 3cm x 1.5cm.
