Carved Coconut Lamp Base, Dragons And Naked Woman, Folk Art, Late 19th Century

Very curious lamp base, made in several parts. Each comes from coconut, finely engraved and sculpted. The base is decorated with geometric decoration, rows of pearls and florets, and the foot, rosettes. The body is decorated with a rotating decoration including water dragons and a naked woman, evolving in a lacustrian landscape, with plants. Rows of pearls are found on the upper part, enclosing the electrical system. I am attaching a bladder lampshade, very fragile, which you may not want, please inform me of your wish at the time of purchase.
Good condition, some cracks and traces of glue on the foot, please look carefully at my detailed pictures.
Working, probably by a sailor or convict, dating from the end of the 19th century or very beginning of the 20th century.
Dimensions: 25cm x 12cm. Lampshade 22cm H x 30 cm diameter. Complete: 45cm H.
