Surgery, Dental Tools, Engraved Ebony Handles, Monogram Mark, Europe 19thcry

A beautiful set of three dental surgical tools: two elevators and one scraper. The elevators, which have slightly different angles, feature turned ebony handles with ribs that alternate between smooth and checkered patterns. The scraper, made of an animal material I haven’t identified, is carved in relief with a ribbed pattern as well, and bears a monogram on the edge of the tool: SWS?
Very good condition, no major flaws; there is a slight hair-line inclusion in the scraper’s handle, which will need to be cleaned. Please look closely at my detailed photos—I’m not hiding anything. 
European working, likely French and/or English, dating from the early 19th century, circa 1840.

Scrapers: 15.3/15.5 cm x 2.5 cm.
Scraper: 15 cm x 1.8 cm.
