Sorrento Marquetry And Leather, Nice Little Photo Album, Late 19th-early 20th Century

Small format, holding well in hand, here is a very nice photo album. Back and borders in gilt leather, edges in gilt cardboard, the flattened surfaces on the front and on the reverse are in Sorrento marquetry. The front is decorated with a bouquet of multicolored flowers, the reverse with blackened fillets on a honey-coloured background. The interior consists of 12 spaces for storing photos, oval format, or rectangular with rounded edges. The interior is decorated with paper, gold, red and black with geometric patterns and fleur-de-lis. Leather applied brass hinge closure.
Beautiful antique item, without major flaw, some parts of the leather are damaged, absence of leather on one of the hinges, some scratches, the most important on the front. Thank you in advance for looking carefully at my detailed photos, I'm not hiding anything!!
