Rare Christian Mask, K'iche Dance, Guatemala, Moros Y Cristianos, Late 19th Century

Of excellent quality compared to similar pieces, this is a superb dance mask. It depicts a Christian in the "Moros y Cristianos" dance from Spain, representing the struggle between good and evil. It has a stuccoed and hand-painted wooden base. The hair and mustache are in high relief, the eyes are glass (one is missing), and the back has a lovely patina with stylized marks. It has a rear hook for hanging.
The mask is in need of restoration if possible, with numerous losses to the chin and nose, and one missing eye. All of this is clearly visible in my detailed photos; please look at them carefully, I'm not hiding anything!
This is a Guatemalan working, dating from the second half of the 19th century.
