Large Okimono, Carved Wood, Grimacing Monk, Japan Meiji 19th Century

Very large monoxyl okimono, unfortunately having suffered some damages, but of high quality. It represents a monk scratching his back, standing in a superbly draped clothing, wearing a grimacing face, in a very beautiful expression. He holds a long walking stick in one hand, and a shorter one in the other, allowing him to scratch himself. The ears are decorated with metal rings.
Condition: a few breaks, more or less well glued, missing a toe on each foot, a crack in the face. Please look carefully at my detailed photos, I'm not hiding anything! It was probably rests on a stand, 2 holes under feet. 
Japanese work, dating from the Meiji period, late 19th century period.
