Nice Pair Of Gilt Bronze Elements, Griffins, For Furniture Or Pegs, France XIXth Century

Very attractive pair of chimeras, probably Griffins. In bronze, partially gilt, they are shown reclining with their heads up and their stylized tails curled. The legs are pierced for attachment. Probably originally furniture bronzes, but would make lovely coat hooks or sconces for hanging lamps.
Very good condition, please note the pewter reinforcement under the Griffins' mouths, well mentioned in my detailed photos, please look at them carefully, I'm not hiding anything.
European working, most likely French, dating from the XiXth century.
Dimensions: 24 x 6.5 x 7cm H.
