Beautiful Wooden Sculpture, Lacquered, Gilt, Saint Joseph & Child, France Late 17thc

Large and beautiful solid wood sculpture, representing Saint Joseph, holding the baby Jesus in his arms. Brown lacquered faces, beautiful gilding, the gaps revealing a red lacquer underneath. Beautiful movement of the drapery, period patina and gilding, small nail on the back, probably fit later. Chair gliders has been fit under the sculpture to let it standing. 
Fair condition for its age, each character is missing a hand, some small chips, lack of gilding, wormholes... please look carefully at my detailed photos, I hide nothing! European working, most likely French, dating from the second half of the 17th century, Circa 1680.
