Important Terracotta Tobacco Pipe Bowl, Cameroon, Spider Decor, 20th Century

Impressive in size, almost 30cm high, here is an interesting pipe bowl. Made of terracotta, it is decorated with stylized tarantula spiders on the base and body. It is a symbol of divination and wisdom. The bowl border is decorated with lion claws in high relief, creating a real crown around it. The model is similar to those of the Museums:
- Amsterdam Pipe Museum (their model measures almost 2 meters)
- Bergerac Tobacco Anthropology Museum (model very similar in size)
Very good overall condition, some small chips, well mentioned on my detailed photos, please look at them carefully, I am not hiding anything!
