Folk Art: Pretty Snuff Box, Horn & Brass, Kitchen Tools

Beautiful little snuffbox, designed in very pretty folk art. Rectangular in shape with rounded corners, in blond horn, it is decorated on the lid with kitchen utensils, on the sides with a bird and on the back with geometric shapes, including an eight-pointed star in the center. Brass mounting, hinge, lid opening and studding. The outer part of the hinge is covered with blond horn.
Condition: good general condition, few small flaws all the same: a micro chip in one corner of the cover, absence of a brass nail, and small lack of horn on the exterior hinge.
European working, probably French, dating from the first part of the 19th century, or slightly later, Circa 1830-1860.
