Beautiful Iron And Brass Snuff Box, Trench Art, Trompe-l'œil Book, Circa 1915

A very pretty little snuffbox with a hinged lid and button closure. Made of brass, it is shaped like a book, with two initials—probably L.S.—engraved on the top.
In very good overall condition, no breaks or flaws, just a little normal wear and tear and minimal traces of oxidation. Please take a close look at my detailed photos—I’m not hiding anything!
Trench-Art, most likely French, dating from World War I, circa 1915.
