Beautiful Set Of 2 Eosin Ceramic Vases, Art Nouveau, Zsolnay, Hungary, 1950s

Two beautiful iridescent eosin ceramic vases with green, purple, and gold highlights. One has a flared, tall neck; the other has a bulbous body with a scalloped rim. This technique, which has won awards at several world’s fairs, produces unique effects that enhance the play of color. Each vase is signed on the bottom: “Zsolnay Hungary 1868 Pecs Hand Painted.” 
Excellent condition, no cracks or flaws, just a few barely visible micro-scratches. Please look closely at my detailed photos—I’m not hiding anything!
Hungarian ceramic, dating from the second half of the 20th century, in the Art Nouveau style.

- 16 cm H x 10 cm diameter
- 7 cm H x 13 cm diameter.
