Subject: The scene takes place in the evening around a billiard table; it appears to be a serious matter (the trial of Alfred Dreyfus?). Medium: Ink drawing on paper. Signature: Signed twice, once in the center of the billiard table and a second time in the lower right corner (see photos). Dimensions: Approximately 40 cm x 60 cm for the composition excluding the frame, but I will provide the exact dimensions soon. Condition: Impeccable, no foxing, no tears, and the work is remarkably fresh. Frame: The frame is very good and the mat is also suitable for any occasion. Biography: Born in Paris, Faubourg-Saint-Martin, Charles Huard began by working for newspapers of the time such as La Libre Parole illustrée and then L'Assiette au beurre.
