"Work "constabulary" Circa 1840-1860, Scottish Landscape "
A beautiful canvas for this large oil painting (old canvas backing), bearing a label in the lower left corner, possibly from a studio or export. I believe it is a wooded autumn landscape in Scotland, painted in the style and quality of Thomas Cheswick (1811-1869). This large, virtuoso work is in very good condition and would be perfect for a nature lover. A fine example of Victorian art. Dimensions are given without the frame.
