*Unless I'm mistaken, this is a limestone architectural element dating from between the 15th and 16th centuries, probably from a pediment.* Provenance: France (Burgundy, Loire Valley, Paris region, etc.).** Mine represents 'God the Father in bust form. Height: approximately 80 cm, weight: very heavy. Condition: as shown in the photos. *** Please let me know if you have any historical information about its origin and representation. I will take more measurements over the weekend to be more precise about its length and depth.
