"Pair Of 18th Century French Neoclassical Tapestries"
Two magnificent 18th-century French Neoclassical tapestries with sumptuous designs. On one panel, Hermes is depicted in the center, beneath a rooster and two globes. Above, an arrow, a staff, and a goat are featured. On the other panel, Demeter is depicted in the center, beneath a buzzing beehive, above two incredibly delicate dragons and a cannon. Each panel contains exquisitely precise details. A dark orange border, added later, surrounds them. As beautiful as they are detailed, they impress with their size: each measures 254 cm (2.54 m) high and 90 cm (31 in) wide.
