Monumental altarpiece depicting Mary on her throne tenderly holding Christ, flanked by John the Baptist and Saint Peter.
This impressive triptych was created during the first half of the 19th century by a follower of the Florentine school of the  Quattrocento, particularly of the master Fra Angelico.
Set within a late Gothic frame, this work, painted on gilded wood, is characterized by its elegance and luminosity.
Typical of the 15th-century Florentine school, the figures appear realistically rendered, and the drapery is depicted without ostentatious luxury, but with vibrant colors.
