Silver-plated Art Nouveau Candy Dish/biscuit Tin By Wmf, 1900

Magnificent silver-plated candy dish or biscuit tin by the German brand WMF. In a remarkable Art Nouveau style, it features flower-shaped handles and a spout adorned with a flower on the lid. The glass, partially green, is decorated with two engraved flowers. This finish is likely a reference to Moser.

The metal base is marked: WFM IO as. The spout on the lid is marked IO
WMF: this stands for Württembergische Metalwaren Fabrik (Württemberg Metalworks Factory).
I/O indicates 1 gram of silver per cm².
