Chinese Porcelain Service In Its Box. Qing Dynasty. 19th Century.
Artist: Daoguang
A nine-piece hard-paste porcelain dinner service, decorated with figures of deities, immortals, and dignitaries, each recognizable by their respective attributes. Gilded details. The nine pieces, each with a different shape, are contained in their original box, which is exceptional. The box is made of beautifully veined wooden planks, joined with dovetail joints. This is a rare set. Dimensions: 300 x 300 x 85 mm. The pieces are in good condition, with no restoration; three small bowls have a minor crack. The box has some minor damage and wormholes.
