Statuette Representing A Roman Lion, Grand Tour
A beautiful bronze depicting a lion with a long, flat mane. Its head, turned to the left, is particularly expressive. The ribs are prominent, and the tail is tucked between its legs. It has a lovely brown patina and sits on a gray marble base. It is in the antique, Roman style. I am selling it as a 19th-century bronze, but it may be older. Italy
