The boy is depicted with a firearm resting beside him, while the girl holds a framed mirror angled towards her dog, forming a charming genre composition. The figures are decorated in soft polychrome enamels with floral garments. Underglaze blue crossed-swords marks are present to the bases, consistent with Meissen practice of the period. Vent holes are visible beneath the bases.
