Portrait of a woman wearing a pearl necklace, adorned with a rose pinned to her lace collar, which is itself decorated with a medallion. This exquisite portrait is the work of Antoine Soustre, known in Limoges for his remarkably fine enamels and his skill as a porcelain painter. The portrait we are presenting is signed in the lower right corner and dated 1908. It was created on a porcelain plaque from the William Guérin factory and bears the factory mark for the period 1891-1932 on the reverse. Dimensions: Height 38 cm, Width 28 cm.
