Pair of chairs with a high straight back resting on four baluster legs connected to each other by four crotch crosspieces located at ground level and forming a frame. Our two chairs are a beautiful late 19th-early 20th century production based on a 17th century model. The seats and backs were redone a few years ago and are still in good condition. The covering fabric is slightly sunned and has a few tiny, non-serious wear spots on the front of the seat. The woodwork has a waxed and dark patina. Note, a small old repair on a rear crosspiece at the base of one of the chairs without affecting the aesthetics and solidity.
