18th Century Venetian Frock Coat, Waistcoat And Breeches.

Frock coat: a rare 18th-century frock coat attributed to Venice, made of beautiful plain green silk, adorned with floral motifs and interlacing patterns of exceptional braided gold thread, sein in relief, all harmoniously placed and distributed.
These motifs can be admired on the front, the cuffs, the pocket flaps, the neckline, and the back, as well as on the long, flowing tails; the gold motifs are all in excellent condition.
The silky fabric of the frock coat, a luminous green, shows some fading in places, but this does not detract from its exceptional character. Waistcoat: a waistcoat to wear under the frock coat or as loungewear, decorated on the front and neckline with floral motifs of silver thread and colored textiles; the waistcoat retains its 10 buttons covered in the same fabric. Breeches: black breeches with a fly, made of silk or silk satin, with long, flowing legs; The calf hems are fitted with five black woven buttons, each ending in a short fabric strap.
