Venice Jewelry Box With Rich Floral Varnished Decoration. 18th Century.
A beautiful Venetian casket, an authentic 18th-century piece, displaying elegant and delicate varnished floral motifs on each side. At the top is the main floral motif, particularly luminous, set within floral reserves. The four sides are charmingly decorated with flowers, each side punctuated by feet that are richly carved and also adorned with floral motifs. The casket is in remarkable condition, with its curved, rounded, and violin-shaped form reminiscent of the Louis XV style. The very clean interior is a matte coral color.
