Very richly decorated Second Empire case with a guilloché background and floral applications on top, the rim is beaded and accompanied by rais de cœurs, the side is adorned with a garland of rinceaux. In the center, a round medallion with its original convex glass houses a miniature portrait of a woman painted on ivory signed M Roos.
