A beautiful pair of comfortable Provençal Regency-style chairs from the 18th century.

The chairs are lacquered in a cream tone, beautifully highlighted on all their details: shells, the front panels, the sides, and the legs.

The chairs are upholstered in nearly new tapestry in excellent condition, with a lovely, luminous Provençal design; the backs are made of salmon-colored silk.
Large shells, highlighted in green, adorn the top and seat rails of each chair.
Pairs of staples, harmoniously placed, create a balanced movement in the lowered backs and along the curved seat rails.
A stretcher joins the legs of each chair, which are slightly curved and end in cabriole feet.

The chairs are in excellent condition, with heavy, extremely stable wooden frames.

The seats have been reupholstered and re-webbed in the traditional style.
