Pair of tall and heavy 17th century Venice candlesticks, in polychrome carved oak wood, newly equipped with electricity, each topped with a new flared lampshade in a golden, bronze color, exterior and interior. The polychromy is present on the edges of the shafts as well as on the sculpted front face of the base; colors marked by very old and repeated grips through use.
