Circa 1930-1940, France. Elegant ecru wild silk summer dress dating from the 1930s-1940s, inspired by the understated and relaxed style of Mademoiselle Chanel's designs. Straight dress with a small Peter Pan collar, short sleeves, and a back zipper. Interesting parallel topstitching on the collar, sleeve cuffs, and front creates a streamlined silhouette. Cream Bakelite belt with buckle. The skirt features box pleats that flare at the hem. There is a very discreet stain on the bodice; no other flaws, as it has been worn very little or not at all. Excellent condition in terms of color and preservation. Measurements: Equivalent to French size 35-36. Length 101 cm, shoulders 38 cm, bust 81 cm, waist 65-70 cm, sleeves 26 cm, hips 90 cm.
