A 19th-century porcelain, bronze, and champlevé enamel tray, late 19th century, the porcelain painted by C. Rochette after “Le Serment d'Amour” by Jean Honoré Fragonard (French 1732–1806). C. Rochette was a noted 19th-century painter of porcelain, frequently associated with the Sèvres Porcelain Manufactory. There is a Sèvres painter, Claire Maglin-Rochette, who is recorded as born in Paris and exhibiting at the 1912 Salon de la Société des artists français
