The lid is decorated with a scene depicting two women beside two trees.
The three other sides are adorned with floral motifs.
The underside of the box shows a profile figure.
The whole is assembled with nails.
Traces of blue-green polychromy are visible on certain elements.
The object has three damages, one of which was restored in the past.
Rust from the hinge has spread to the adjacent bone panels.
The hinge exhibits some wear due to rust.
